MD-Colin-Naylor-and-Director-Ian-Parkinson

Lifting Gear Hire will be celebrating their first year anniversary since returning to the UK lifting and rigging marketplace this month. The company have managed to complete their first 12 months with three facilities which are located in Manchester, London and Aberdeen. The company has also achieved a series of other milestones over the course of this year.

The company was first launched in 1970 and has managed to become a multinational company, even though it has been absent from the UK market for the last 10 years. LGH has been in operation in North America, and their work there as well as in Europe has allowed the company to thrive and expand. LGH is known for being in the top 50 of US hire companies, a position it has maintained for several years.

Since first being established the company has developed their experience across a variety of complex jobs and has managed to learn a range of applications for both new and existing products. LGH as a brand is best suited to being a part of highly regulated markets with a strong emphasis on health and safety. Their strengths in this area have allowed them to exceed expectations in terms of compliance and accreditation issues.

For Lifting Gear Hire, the two most well-known highlights for the company are the acquisition of the Aberdeen based hire division JD Neuhaus as well as the work that has gone into making LGH the largest hirer of air hosts in Europe. The second highlight for the company would be the achievement of the Bronze accreditation from the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme. This scheme is voluntary and works to promote best practice for companies working in the commercial vehicle sector.

The investment and success that has been seen by the company has led to LGH having a great 2017. No doubt this success will continue for the company in the years to come.
