Bridgeway Interactive™ holds 7th Annual National Conference
Sausalito, California (December 5, 2007)- Bridgeway Interactive™ held its seventh Annual National Conference, “Navigating for Success, Against All Odds”, at the Silverado Resort & Spa in Napa on November 12-13 and once again, their attendees left the conference with ideas and relationships that will improve their businesses in the coming year.
Despite the decline in the housing industry, conference attendance increased 25 percent from last year. Builders, flooring contractors, and manufacturers, from over 35 companies, participated in an interactive forum facilitated by Bridgeway Interactive™.
Each of the varied business session events applied to issues important to the members. Included in the sessions was a panel discussion focused on creating true partnerships in the supply chain, as well as presentations by McStain Neighborhoods, Shaw Industries and Hunter Douglas on building and manufacturing “Green”. Also, technology products offered by John Laing Homes - Orange County, Taylor Woodrow and Fulton Homes were showcased. These companies demonstrated how they are integrating multiple technology tools to improve their homebuyer’s experience. Dennis Webb, VP of Operations for Fulton Homes, personally demonstrated Fulton’s homebuyer portal which includes Design Center Solutions™ and Builder Process Solutions™ from Bridgeway Interactive™, the Envision options management program, and Fulton’s interactive floor plans.
Bridgeway Interactive™ also introduced innovations developed to support their members’ businesses. They demonstrated a new platform for their online training business, Trainingspace™, which allows for greater customization, integration of additional training content, and better functionality. In addition, Trainingspace™ will soon release manufacturer specific online training for Shaw Home Foundations and Hunter Douglas.
Creating Your Space™ is Bridgeway Interactive’s sister company offering retail web development for flooring and kitchen and bath retailers. Their newest tools were also demonstrated, including an enhanced product catalog and a “Design Your Room” visualization tool giving online customers the ability to upload photos of rooms in their home into a virtual room designer tool. This allows for experimentation with a variety of flooring products and wall colors. Also, introduced was the new “Room Maker” tool that allows a consumer to create a room, calculate the amount of desired flooring and create a furniture design plan. The unique interaction between builders, contractors and manufacturers that Bridgeway Interactive™ facilitated created a positive atmosphere in what is clearly a challenged market. Michael Vogel, the President and Founder of Bridgeway Interactive™, stated, “It was exciting to see our group of industry leaders continuing to grow in this difficult market. I see this growth as a result of our focus on developing solutions for our clients and creating an atmosphere that nurtures creative thought. Our 2008 motto of ‘Help Us Help You’ was well received and fostered brainstorming sessions that resulted in specific ways that we all can improve and grow our businesses. We started 7 years ago as a ‘client driven’ company and have never lost that focus.”
