Plans Approved for London Residential Scheme
Plans for a new £50 million residential project at Old Oak and Park Royal in London have been approved. Developed by Fruition Properties on the north eastern entrance to the 659 hectare regeneration zone, the project will see the construction of a 20-storey residential tower, along with 2,300 sq ft of commercial space, a new nursery, a church and community facilities.
The scheme was designed by Stiff + Trevillion architects and it involves building 85 new homes consisting of one, two and three bedroom apartments. With the construction due to start in early 2019, the completion is estimated for 2021.
“This is a hugely prestigious project for us, playing a key part in the wider regeneration of Old Oak and Park Royal – which when finished will deliver a new, highly connected district for London from underutilised land,” said Mani Khiroya, Managing Director of Fruition Properties.
“The result demonstrates our values and commitment to working closely with the community, the local and wider London authorities to achieve an outcome that is beneficial for all parties. When complete, not only will 2 Scrubs Lane provide much needed new private and affordable homes but also improved fit-for-purpose community facilities that will allow the local area to flourish,” she added.
