Richard Howson, group chief executive of Carillion, has got himself an additional part time job on the board of another company.

Richard Howson has been appointed a non-executive director of John Wood Group, an international oil & gas services company based in Aberdeen and Houston.

He will be a member of the nomination and the safety, assurance & business ethics committees.
