Sladen Estates, the national development company, has appointed a new architect to improve their design team. This appointment has been made following the acquisition of a number of development sites located across the UK. Joining the team at Sladen is Steve Melhuish, who has extensive experience of working in both the public and private sector.

Steve will be joining the business as an Architect and will boost the established in-design team at Sladen. Sladen Estates is a commercial property development company that focuses on industrial, offices, retail and student accommodation. The company operates on sites across the UK, but has their offices in London, Derbyshire and Manchester. Steve Melhuish will be a valuable asset to the company and his expertise will be a great addition to the skillset at the company.

Steve has gained more than twenty years of experience working within the industry and has developed an understanding of a wide range of development areas. Steve has held the position of Chief Architect for a local authority and also a number of different commercial practices. Sladen Estates is known for being involved with a wide range of exciting projects and Steve has expressed his eagerness to get to work on the interesting developments carried out by the firm all over the UK. Steve has also had his own experience of working on a number of exciting projects, but is looking forward to getting to work in his new role and helping towards Sladen’s development programme.

Sladen welcome Steve Melhuish to the team, who will benefit their experienced and professional in-house design capability. It is vital for Sladen to have an established design team in order to stand apart from their competitors and allow the company to respond to customer requirements as efficiently as possible. Steve’s appointment comes at an exciting time for the company and hopefully both he and Sladen with thrive going forward.
